Για την ακρίβεια στα very big SUV μιας και το Cadillac Escalade φτάνει τα 5,17 m στην… κοντή του εκδοχή! Διότι υπάρχει και η μακρύτερη στα 5,70 m με αυξημένο μεταξόνιο και «φορτηγατζίδικους» χώρους. Ενδεικτικά, το πορτμπαγκάζ κυμαίνεται από 1.096 ως 3.412 lt παραπέμποντας σε επαγγελματικό βαν δηλαδή ενώ υπάρχει και 3η σειρά καθισμάτων για 7-θέσια διάταξη.
Το νέο Escalade θα κάνει ντεμπούτο στην έκθεση του Λος Άντζελες το Νοέμβριο με τον σχεδιασμό του εσωτερικού να συμβαδίζει με τις γοτθικές γωνίες των Cadillac και την τεράστια μάσκα. O διάκοσμος είναι πολυτελής από όποια πλευρά κι αν το δεις με υλικά που κυριαρχούν όπως το δέρμα και το ξύλο ενώ από πλευράς εξοπλισμού άνεσης και ασφάλειας υπάρχουν σχεδόν τα πάντα. Ένα από τα hi-light είναι το ενεργό σύστημα ηχοακύρωσης που εκπέμπει παρόμοιας συχνότητας ήχους επισκιάζοντας τον θόρυβο.

The 2015 Escalade interior features cut-and-sewn and wrapped materials, with wood trim options chosen for elegance and authenticity. Seats were engineered to be more comfortable and sculpted in appearance. Κάτω από το πομπώδες αμάξωμα των +2,5 τόνων με τις 22άρες ζάντες, υπάρχει η κλασική αμερικάνικη SUV συνταγή με ανεξάρτητο πλαίσιο τύπου σκάλας και άκαμπτο πίσω άξονα, ενώ υπάρχουν και κάποια high tech στοιχεία, όπως τα εμπρός ηλεκτρονικά ρυθμιζόμενα αμορτισέρ μπροστά. Επιλογές δεν υπάρχουν καθώς υπάρχει μία και μόνο έκδοση κινητήρα -ο V8 6.2 που αποδίδει 420 PS και 623 Nm ροπής- με την κίνηση να περνά στους πίσω ή στους τέσσερις τροχούς μέσω μέσω αυτόματου κιβωτίου 6 σχέσεων.
