Στο παραπάνω βίντεο ένας δοκιμαστής της Chevrolet μας μιλά για το πόσο καλή είναι η νέα Camaro και για την ισχυρότερη SS έκδοση που έχει κατασκευαστεί έως σήμερα…

Η κορυφαία έκδοση Camaro SS μπορεί να μην έχει κάποιο τούρμπο κινητήρα κάτω από το καπό της, αλλά και V8 των 6.200 cc κάθε άλλο παρά λίγος καθώς προέρχεται από την Corvette και για την περίσταση αποδίδει 461 PS. Με το μηχανικό κιβώτιο, η Camaro SS έχει το 0-100 σε 4,3 sec, ενώ με το αυτόματο είναι πιο γρήγορη κατά 0,3 sec. Εδώ να πούμε πως στην βάση βρίσκεται η Camaro με τον δίλιτρο τούρμπο των 279 PS (0-100 σε 5,4 sec) και θα μπορούσε να υποθέσει κανείς πως αυτή η έκδοση θα ήταν και η δημοφιλέστερη, ειδικά για την Ευρώπη.

Ωστόσο, έκπληξη αποτελεί το γεγονός πως το αντίπαλο δέος της Camaro, η νέα Mustang, πουλά στο 64% εκδόσεις μοντέλων με τον V8 κινητήρα.
